Prenatal Music Stimulation
Photographic record of the first world experience of prenatal stimulation with live music, offered to more than 100 pregnant woman. The event was coordinated by Rmt. Gabriel Federico, pioneering specialist in music therapy and pregnancy, who not only performed activities for prenatal stimulation, but also offered a magisterial conference explaining the fundament of this experience. Mp3 Players For Unborn Children
There is now a new piece of technology out there that will enable mothers to plug in their MP3 player to speakers that strap around the stomach so they can play music to their unborn child. Is this really a good idea though?
Positives
The speakers actually get placed around you which means that you never have to worry about sitting close to a speaker ot moving one around until it is just right. Guitars tunes, drum kits solos and anything else like this can be played to the child through the speaker system, is this really a good thing though?
Negatives
A baby is supposed to be hearing their mothers voice and heartbeat as it would seem that this is the most important thing when it comes to development of a child. Another thing is, where did the theory that playing this kind of music through this kind of technology would benefit a child, actually come from? The really funny thing about all of this is that the best composers never had music like this played to them so why would we need it. The next thing that they will suggest doing is getting some DJ equipment and scratching records as fast and hard as you can against the area your baby is sitting. Has the world lost it at last.
I do not think this product is going to work very well at all but that remains to be seen. It may be beneficial but come on just spend the time and talk to your child for goodness sake. Playing a bit of music from time to time is alright but getting something like this is just silly.
The best advice is to just do what you feel is best for your baby, if you think one of these gadgets would do you some good then why not try it out
