Forty weeks can be a very long time to wait for your baby to come. When it gets down to the last few weeks and days the anticipation can sometime become totally overwhelming so imagine how bad it is when the baby refuses to come and you sit there as the days tick by just waiting for the labor to start. If you find yourself in this unfavourable position then you might want to start taking some steps to get the balls rolling yourself. Here are a few things that you can try in order to help to induce labor.

The first thing that you might want to try will be a massage and acupressure. If you look on the internet you will find that there are loads of sources that talk about the ability to induce labor by stimulating certain hormones for release in the body and this is all done through massaging certain areas.

You may also want to try stimulating the nipples. If you just roll your thumb and forefinger over the nipples for two minutes, then stop for about two minutes, and then continue this process, then you may find that you induce labor. This is something that can be done by yourself or your partner. In addition to this you might also think about sex in order to induce labor. This can be done during the last couple of weeks of the pregnancy but may not be something that you are willing to do.

There are also certain foods and herbs that you can eat as well. Many women swear by the ingestion of certain foods in order to start the cycle so you should check with your doctor before you try anything out.

Lastly, you can try some other sorts of physical activity as well. Women have induced labor by doing things like going for long walks, doing a lot of gardening where they are squatting constantly, or just doing yoga.

These are only a few basic tricks that may help you to induce labor.

If your looking to get induce labor naturally, you should consider finding a doctor that can perform it correctly. In order to help induce labor be less painful, you will be offered medicine for pain.

Many women face labor problems in the world today. However, there are ways to make delivering a baby much easier. For example, you can induce labor with acupressure.

Acupressure refers to the complimentary scientific method that is based on acupuncture and pressure. As you may know, acupuncture originates from China. Until today, acupuncture is still widely used in China to cure various diseases and illnesses.

It is very famous in China and is known to be a practice that dates back to many years ago. It is still used in many countries especially China to treat various illnesses and diseases. It is indeed possible to use acupressure to induce labor.

Acupuncture originates from China. Dating back to a long time ago, it was used for treating various diseases. It is based on the concept of ‘chi’ or energy forces in the body of a human being. To induce labor with acupressure, you can put pressure on two main points.

Although it is possible to try it on your own but, it might be more advisable to get a certified practitioner to apply the acupressure techniques on you to induce labor. This is to prevent any possible problem. For those who would like to try on their own, there are two main points.

The first location is the webbing between your thumb and forefinger. Simply apply pressure by pinching that area and rubbing in a circular motion for thirty to sixty seconds. You can take a break of 1-2 minutes in between contractions.

The second point is located roughly above the inside of your ankle bone. Simply rub on it until you have a contraction. Since it is possible to induce labor with acupressure, a natural method with no side effects, it might be a good idea to try it and reduce the suffering and pain of labor.
