Dr Landrum Shettles a renowned expert on baby gender prediction developed a simple, three step, at home, all natural baby gender selection method, that he felt was “best supported by scientific evidence”.

Dr Shettles wrote a best selling book called How To Choose The Sex Of Your Baby, you’ll find a link at my site. He claimed a 75%-90% success rate using his techniques. There have been a few ebooks authored (also at my site) that claim an even higher success rate of up to 98%. These ebooks utilize Dr Shettles methods as well as other baby gender prediction methods to achieve this amazing success rate!

The gender selection methods developed by Dr. Shettles takes advantage of the fact that it’s the man’s sperm that determines the sex of a baby. How do we know this? Because the womans egg always carries only the (xx) chromosome (all girl) while the man’s sperm can carry an (xy) chromosome (results in a girl baby) or the (yy) Chromosome (results in a boy baby. Also the two sperm vary widely in their physical characteristics. The “girl” sperm is larger, stronger, but a slower swimmer. The “boy” sperm is smaller, weaker, but faster to reach the egg (every thing being equal.)

The doctor also realized that timing of intercourse, and the depth of penetration during conceptual intercourse could help to determine if the resulting baby was a boy or girl. The mother-to-be will have to track her day of ovulation precisely in order to time conceptual intercourse precisely as well.

If wanting a baby boy abstain from sex until 24 hrs before you ovulate, than have sex as much as you want (more is better here!) until about 48 hrs after ovulation. Also using positions that allow deep penetration (doggie style) will deposit the sperm as close as possible to the fresh waiting egg, and allow the fast swimming boy sperm their best chance to win the race and give you that special little baby boy you want.

If you want a baby girl, you should only allow shallow penetration when having sex to conceive. Abstain from sex for a couple of days before ovulation until a couple of days after. Again, this will ensure the weaker boy sperm cannot survive the time and distance needed to successfully fertilize the egg, resulting in the girl baby you desire.

Dr. Shettles found that a womans vaginal ph also had a baring on which sperm was successful in fertilizing the egg. Create a higher ph (more acidity) and the girl sperm is favored, while a lower ph (higher alkalinity) favors the boy sperm.

Don’t leave anything to chance (if you are serious about choosing the gender of your baby.) You’ll need a guide to take you through the entire process step by step. You’ll find these guides at my website, so pick one up and raise your chance of success from a mere 50/50 to well over 90%!

The Baby Gender Prediction Chart

The Chinese Baby Calendar was discovered about 700 years ago by a Chinese scientist. It is believed to be very accurate by many in the far east, while Westerners aren’t so sure. The Chinese Gender Calendar can be a lot of fun whether you’re a “believer” or not.

In order to get accurate results using the Chinese gender predictor, you need to understand the differences between the Chinese Lunar Calendar and the Gregorian Calendar used here in the west.

First off, you need to know the month of conception, now remember, we’re talking about conception not the actual birth date. Many have gotten inaccurate results because of using the birth date and not the date of conception.

Many people are confused trying to figure out the mother-to-be’s month of conception, this is when to mother was conceived, not her actual birth date.

In order to figure the mothers month of conception just add 9 months to her age, this should be when she was conceived. Also keep in mind that the Chinese New Year falls on a different date every year, somewhere between January22 and February 22.

Now using the parameters above, you simply figure the babys month of conception as well as the mothers month of conception, follow the two columns till they intersect and if the square is blue-it’s a boy, but if it’s pink you’ll be having a girl baby.

You, of course, can find out (by way of an ultra-sound) if you will have a boy or girl in your seventh or eighth month, but if nothing else the Chinese Lunar Calendar is fun to try and you can use it on your other children or anyones children for that matter.

The Chinese Baby Calendar can be lots of fun to experiment with, but regardless of gender, you new baby is a gift and deserves to be loved and nurtured.
