I am so very proud of my sister. She refused to terminate her pregnancy even though her child had been diagnosed with trisomy 18. I would be proud of her no matter what decision she made, but I am ultimately proud of her for sticking with her beliefs and convictions and doing what she felt was right despite what the doctors and society told her to do. In loving memory of our angel, Marlee Jonell, who was stillborn on Friday June 15, 2007 due to complications associated with trisomy 18. Her mommy found out that she had trisomy 18 when she was 20 weeks pregnant, but she refused to terminate the pregnancy, and let her fate lie in God’s hands instead. www.marleejonell.com/home
