How far into your pregnancy can you still get a negative test?
I have been testing for a few weeks now, because I have been having pregnancy symptoms the past while. I have had all negative results. I will be going to the doctor only at the beginning of next week. How far into your pregnancy is it possible to still get a negative result?
Well I guess it depends. Some people can get a positive result sooner then others. I first tested the day before my missed period and it came out negative and I had had it done at a hospital so it was a blood and urine test. I didn’t get a positive result until I was already 7 weeks along.

well.. i waited 2 weeks but i know something was up because i was pregnant with triplets

typically most women will show a positive with in a week of a missed period… sometimes though you can go longer… not sure exactly how much but i would think if you havent had sex in the past 6 weeks you can trust a negative… it is common to miss a period from being sick… if you are having "morning sickness" and no periods… it could mean you are just sick, not pregnant

i was 3 days late when i got my positive pregnancy test. if you are pregnant it will show up the day of your pissed period or any day after. some tests now even show it a few days before. if you think you are pregnant, leave it a week, and try again, even if it is nail grindingly painfull to wait! good luck

I had a positive result at about 6 weeks. Although, my mom was 3 months pregnant before she ever found out. She had her period for the first two months of pregnancy and when she missed (month 3) she took 3 or 4 home pregnancy tests and every single one came back negative. Sometimes home pregnancy tests don’t work for some women. The most accurate way to tell is through a blood test.
Good luck!
