30 week preemie (2 lbs 15 oz) PPROM
at the 19th week of pregnancy Leannes water broke. Known as PPROM preterm premature rupture of membrane. The doctors said after PPROM 25% make it past the first week without going into labor. We would have to hold off delivering and infection for at least 5 weeks to have a chance. One day i asked the doctor what our chances were now that we made it past the first week. he told me it was impossible to give statistics due to every situation being different, but he would guess we had a 1 in 15 chance. We held off 11 weeks. This is our journey
Thank you for this video. My daughter was born at 28 weeks also, and we had to use a container for her bath. It was a very scarey time. She was born Feb. 5, and next year we are walking together in the March of Dimes. I’m a Christian’s and a lot of Christian’s pray for things like this not to happen to them, but having this happen was a major blessing. If we always prayed for God to keep us from these things, we would never be able to put ourselves in another person’s shoes. Thank you.

hes a miracle baby…it makes me worry less to have my twin boys i always worry that they may not make it cause of how tiny they might be but seeing that yours has survived and is doing good gives me hope

although you make think you’re alone in this world, you’re not. There are several other people in this world who have the same situation as you, one of them is including me and my baby my water broke when i was 24 weeks and my baby girl deylanie was born of 29 weeks very ill even though the doctors never told me wath cause my water to break but now i know that they are truthfully miracles in this world and one of them is all the premie. babies for being strong take care ALWAYS DEYLANIE

i have been diagnosed with pre.term labour at 24 weeks,im on treatment and baby is still hanging in there at 28 weeks.fingers crossed i have a happy ending,im teriffied.what a beautiful little baby,thanks for sharing
Thank you for posting. I am in the hospital with premature labor at 29 weeks. My husband is in Iraq and can not be here – this video helps us understand what we might expect if we can not keep our little guy baking. It is wonderful you made it 11 weeks!!! What a blessing.
