    thats because the soonest you can find out is 6 to 8 days. but the hcg could still be fairly low, so for a more accurate result you should wait until your period is past due. that way you do not get a false negative.

    I am finding this confusing… she says hcg shows up at around 6 to 8 days after conception, but at the end she says wait until a week after missed period?? That’s up to 3 weeks for some women!!
    It’s got to be either one or the other.
