Is your wife about to have to the first born in your family? Are you excited to have a kid of your own? Have you waited long enough and is psyched to finally have your first child? You deserve a good pat in the shoulder. You have been waiting for this moment and in just a couple of months, you will get to have him or her.

One of the best gifts that a married couple can have is a kid. For many people, it is the fruit of their love. You can call it a family not unless there is a child. You are probably teary-eyed reading this as you wait for your first born baby.

As a soon to be father, you need to be responsible for his or her room. You need to make all the necessary carpentry. You need to put in black floating shelves, cabinets and even protective cushions. It isn’t enough that black floating shelves will be put inside the room. You can make a crib of your own.

There are so many things that you need to buy before making all those things. One most important thing you need to buy is Estwing hammers. Estwing hammers will help you with all the carpentry. You should also buy nails, screws, good piece of wood.

As a parent, your utmost concern is providing a safe and secure environment. Put a baby monitor so you could here the cries of the baby in the wee hours of the morning. Also, you might want to install a nanny cam. This will help you check if the nanny is doing her job well. Who knows, maybe your nanny is lazy then you get the chance to reprimand or end her contract.

Because you are going to be a dad, you need to make sure that the kid is safe at all times. You need to foresee the future. He will be walking by the age of two and you might want to make his room accident-proof. Be sure to have cushions place near the corners. You can also put a baby monitor so you will hear him from the other side of the room. If you are thinking of hiring a nanny, buy a nanny cam. It will give you a video footage of the nanny. You will be able to know if you hired a good or a lousy nanny.

Also, make sure the entire house is ready for your little angel. You should have the walker, high chair and mini indoor fences ready. To make it extra special for your kid, you can include a diaper changing area in the bathroom near the living room. This will keep you away from the hassle of going up to the room to change his diaper.

Bob Proctor has been writing articles since 2005 and is an expert on black floating shelves, however he’s also interested in estwing hammers for personal use.
